How to swap your home - Swapping your home starts with you saying what you want in your property preferences and what you have in your property information. We then run a program that matches all other properties to what you want and we list them in your matched swaps tab. If the owner of a particular property wants what you have then we signify this as a matched property by indicating with a coloured box the number of links still to complete in order to make a full chain.

You can click on a property on the list to see more details where you can also ask a question, find out what they want and express interest. By marking a property as interested you confirm your link in any chain. When all links are confirmed you can then commit to a particular swap when you can contact your landlord and the new home's landlord in order to complete the exchange.

Click 'interested' on the property to start the process. Once the chain has been formed with no links remaining, click 'commit' to move forward with the swap.

You may add as many favourites as you like, but you may only 'commit' to one property.

Do not give notice on your property until you've asked your landlord if the homeswap is permitted.
