I am a new customer trying to register. I have completed the form except that I do not have an image of my property.

You can register without adding a property image, just add it later.


Do I have to pay to use this site?

No, there are no costs to the tenant at any point when using this site. The registration is free, searching home swaps and contacting members is free and reporting repairs and notices is free.


Could you give me a phone number?

We are not always in the office so would prefer to answer your queries through email. If you use the contact form on the site please ensure your email address is valid and working otherwise we can't get in touch with you.


Can you give me advice on Housing Benefits?

Unfortunately we're not able to answer any questions about Housing Benefits, you'll have to contact your landlord or council directly for any queries of this kind.


I have a message in my email from customer services, how do I respond to it?

To get in touch with the support team at Locate either contact us directly through the site, or email us at: customerservices@locate.co.uk


how do you reactivate your account

If you have deactivated your account you will need to re-register.


How much do you charge

We do not charge tenants but if the landlords wish to take advantage of Locate then we charge them based on the number of tenants registered.


Could you tell me why i cant log in ?

It could be that you are using the wrong username and password (please note that the password is case sensitive so if you originally used capital letters on registration you must continue throughout) or if you have entered the wrong details three times that your account is locked. Simply contact us to have your account unlocked.


How I can register ?

Click on sign-in and follow the instructions based on whether you are a tenant or home owner.


I have now found a property and would like to de-register. Please advise accordingly
